Roland Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil is imported from Liguria, Italy. This area is known to produce some of the finest olives for pressing olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil is the first passing of tree ripened olives. This oil is only 1% acid and is green/gold to bright green in color.

Because Roland Extra Virgin Olive Oil has such an intense rich flavor, it is best used in salad dressings and marinades. Extra virgin olive oil has a low smoke point and therefore should not be used for frying.
